WITH ALL DUE RESPECT- YOUR HORRIBLE AT COORDINATING EVENTS LADY!


Event coordinators have to be on top of their shit! We recently had a "Manager" acting as an event coordinator from outside of Atlanta confirm us for an event. The event space did not allow for food truck parking and no alternatives were provided. No one knew this until the evening of the event. After we had shopped, prepped, and prepared for the truck to feed hungry event attendees, we sat outside the venue for an hour and a half with no direction and limited communication from the "Manager"

I call her: She answers and says--Oh yeah, let me find out where you should be- CLICK 😳

I call back- NO ANSWER I call back - NO ANSWER I CALL BACK--she answers and says--NO ONE AT THE LOCATION HAS ANY INFORMATION FOR US.


SO SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL ME. HUH??????


We were also catering for a small group of 30 in the event which they had paid for in advance. SHE LITERALLY ASKED ME IF WE COULD FIND SOMEWHERE TO PARK TO COMPLETE THE CATERING AT LEAST...so screw $1000 worth of product we had in the truck, but can you find a parking lot somewhere to cook this catering real quick????

Her response: Well I'm not from here, so I figured you would know more about the event space than me.

ME: WHAT???? That's not how this works. When you are coordinating an event, you ensure that all of the moving pieces are aligned accordingly and deal with any small hiccups that may arise on the day of the event. As a vendor, I expect load-in instructions and any additional information before the actual day of the event.


I expect for us to pull-up-get busy--and pullout. Patrons happy with their food, us happy with how the event turned out. In the entire 20 months we have been in business, this was by far THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE HAD!


She never even came outside, introduced herself, give facetime...NOTHING. YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY??? SHE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT OUR BUSINESS. WE WERE MERELY A VENDOR AND IN HER MIND DID NOT DEEM ANYTHING FROM HER. EVEN THOUGH WE WERE LISTED ON THE FLYER AS A SPONSOR.


Our crew couldn't even use the bathroom in the event! REALLY?????


What an incredible disappointment. Malik Rhasaan knows that I love working with clients to lock in events. I love seeing happy clients after their events...but we are literally a full restaurant on wheels, so stop treating us like we're selling hot dogs on a stick on the corner of your cul-de-sac.


RESPECT OUR BUSINESS OR GO BUY SOME NATHANS!
